Shire Files Intuniv Patent Infringement Suit Against Teva

ShareLONDON -(Dow Jones)- U.K. drug maker Shire PLC (SHP.LN) Friday said its U.S. subsidiary filed a lawsuit there against Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. ( TEVA), alleging that the Israel-based generic drugs maker infringed two patents for Shire’s hyperactivity medicine Intuniv.

Sanofi-Aventis settles generic Eloxatin suits

NEW YORK — French drugmaker 
Sanofi-Aventis ( SNY - news - people ) said it resolved lawsuits against Hospira ( HSP - news - people ) Inc.’s Mayne Pharma unit, Turkish drugmaker MN Pharmaceuticals and Actavis Inc. Each company was selling a generic version of Sanofi-Aventis’ Eloxatin, but under the settlement, they will stop selling the drug on June 30 and not resume until Aug. 9, 2012.
