Local burger restaurant settles suit with Mcdonald’s
A restaurant in the US state of Minnesota has settled its trademark infringement lawsuit against McDonald’s over the fast-food giant’s use of the slogan “Who’s Your Patty?” The Lion’s Tap restaurant claimed it had used and registered the slogan as a trademark since 2005 before it was used by McDonald’s to promote its Aberdeen Angus burger. Michael Lafeber, lawyer for The Lion’s Tap said the parties reached a “mutually beneficial amicable resolution.” McDonald’s also said a satisfactory agreement was reached.
